7 Days after New Year...Malaysia (Soccer) Leagues is about to start...

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم

It's new year already, it's been a week after new year. As usual, I would like to share with all Infinitesane viewer from all over the world especially not Malaysian about Malaysia football (soccer) leagues. Yet, Malaysian are welcomed. I just want to promote Malaysia leagues to all over the world, if they're interested. Who know, one day some scouter from a better football nation than South East Asia nation would find a Malaysian player from this humble blog as their references. Aside report from local English newspaper, here I would like to review matches more non-formal, with irrelevant grammar (I'm not a good English writer/speaker). Enough with that, let's start with our topic. Let's recap... It is 7th January Malaysia Charity Shield match about to start between last season Super League winner Kelantan FA versus Malaysia Cup's winner, Negeri Sembilan FA.

Kelantan had won this charity shield match once, last season. While tonight winner, Negeri Sembilan never won this charity shield match before. So tonight is a new history for Negeri Sembilan player and their fans.

Honestly, I don't know where to start. It's been a while since my last review on soccer match. Fans attendance is quite discouraging. Bukit Jalil National Stadium was not on full house today. There is so many empty seated especially on the Negeri Sembilan side which is quite surprising because:
1. Today is weekend holiday
2. Distance from Negeri Sembilan to Bukit Jalil is much nearer than Kelantan to Bukit Jalil

Moving on to the match. Let's do it nice and simple as usual okay? I'll just using points to save your time reading/understanding it.

FIRST HALF

1. Kelantan is a much dominating side for most of the half
2. Norshahrul Idlan Talaha outclass his imported teammate with his calmness in one-on one situasion with the keeper thus scoring a goal with a magnificent body movement. Credit to Mohammed Ghaddar, Lebanese national player for his assist pass.
3. Everything seems doing well for Kelantan UNTIL...
4. Kelantan's defensive line make a mistake which causing a goal from Jean-Emmanuel Effa Owona that come from a deflection from Farisham Ismail and sent Khairul Fahmi to a wrong direction
5. From that point, the game seems pretty fair in term of possession
6. First Half, Kelantan 1-1 Negeri Sembilan

SECOND HALF

1. Negeri Sembilan seems to control this game with improvement in each and every position on the field. Every Kelantan attacking moves was easily defeated by Negeri Sembilan defensive line. I would like to point out G. Mahathevan as one of the best player in that match. Exploiting his physical that big and tall, every move from Kelantan seems nothing hazardous anymore.
2. S. Kunanlan is one more man that play very well especially in second half. The one that gets a nickname "Semenyih Express" due to his speedy pace in the field really shows that our local players are also very talented and great quality players. His effort from defending to attacking amuse me.
3. Once again, a goal from Jean-Emmanuel Effa Owona make the Negeri Sembilan fans jump off their seats. A decent cross from Tengku Qayyum that get an excellent pass from S.Kunanlan, finished well by Effa Owana header defeating the birthday boy, Kelantan goalkeeper, Khairul Fahmi Che Mat.
4. Negeri Sembilan really gives us an entertaining game tonight with their passes, build up and control. Even though Kelantan holds the possession of the ball, I'd say Negeri Sembilan own the game.

So long for now, I'll leave you all with the full highlight, credit to EPLsoker that always upload Malaysia league videos in youtube.

See you later,
Hasta Luego,
