Australia VS Malaysia: Malaysia lacking arrogance

I am now watching Australia against Malaysia in Canberra. And now it is half-time break and I'm really furious with their performance especially Right Back and Left Back. And shall I put it too dumb? It is TOO DUMB. I'm sorry. I know Australia is superior than us, I'm not wanting too much a win, but at least make it not too easy for them.

Alright, now I've watch the whole match and 2nd half, Malaysia did better but still wasting many chances and opportunities but thank god Mahali being substitute by Zubir Ali and he did his job much better than Mahali, and the formation has changed by playing with 3 defence. Asraruddin played better in center. K.Rueben playing his first cap with a commendable performance. I tip my hat to him. I'm very proud of his national debut. Kunalan also playing with much better performance in the 2nd half. I symphatize with Safee Sali, he is a prolific striker but didn't get much ball. He got one opportunity in the 2nd half but TWO, I said again TWO PLAYER cramping him as they know what he can do in such situation. Wan Zaharulnizam was also play great. He didn't show inferiority upon Aussies player and that pleasing me.

As a conclusion, what I've observed, the most important thing they (Malaysia Football/Soccer team) should gain first is ARROGANCE. Yeah I said it, ARROGANCE. They CANNOT play with an inferiority mentality. If they cannot changed that, I think we'll need many more years for our national squad to shine in the world stage. Fortunately, our U23 squad already have some arrogance in them. Just look at Wan Zaharulnizam, Zubir Ali and 3 player playing for Vion FC in Slovakia, they show their confidence against player with much better in term of physical and they can play well. Please count Mahali out. He is disappointing in these day performance. Last time he played well was in the AFF tournament. They CANNOT AND MUST STOP playing with a mentality "they're much better side than us". Whoever they're facing even Spanish, they should have a mentality of "We are better side than them". Even we know they are much better then us. But we must convince ourselves that we are better than them.

Before I close this entry, I would like to share my brothers opinion about Malaysian player.
1. Please find experience and go overseas if they got opportunity, Safee Sali is married, still very eager to play at more competative and better league. Some of our player, after married, didn't have any intention to play overseas. Just look at Safee Sali quality, he is moving and leaving other player in Malaysia in term of quality.
2. Norhafiz Zamani Misbah is not anymore suitable to play with this day game pace. He is not bad , but not suitable to play with national team anymore. I would be glad if he prove me wrong.

This is a short entry because it still fresh after match. The match just finished a few minutes as I'm writing this entry. Perhaps I'll make a follow-up entry, or maybe not.

p/s: If this how they performed, I would be worried how we are going to defend our AFF Championship. Thailand playing with Australia in much more competative match (World Cup Qualifier) and end up losing only 2-1. Plus, they manage to steal a goal against them. It show how more solid their team are compare to us. I hope we manage to defend our AFF Championship but I will not hoping too much if they still don't have much arrogance and superiority against any opponent.

With that, I sign out,
Wassalam,
