This Week on WWE

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today's "Sunday Sunnyday".

This week on WWE. I need to pick which story to bring up today because I don't want to make this entry longer. Nonetheless, I'll pick a few. Let's start.

This week on RAW kick off with the confrontation with Paul Heyman and Triple H. It end with Triple H facing 2 lawsuit against him. I'm not sure when but Triple H vs Brock Lesnar match is mostly happen.

I would like to start two new segment in this "Sunday Sunnyday". This one is the first one. Actually I found it on twitter when someone mention about the sign. WWE Universe always bring creative and catchy phrase on their sign. So, people who watch couldn't help but notice it. So, here is "Sign of the Week". Actually I've had a hard time to pick either the first picture up there or this one but I pick this one because it is much clearer. So, this is the sign.


WRESTLING FAKE!
I'm not sure whether he's being a captain obvious or he trying to tell people out there that we, wrestling fans know that it's fake and we watch it for the entertainment pleasure. Just like you all watch TV drama.

Champ vs Champ. United States Champ, Santino Marella vs Intercontinental Champ Cody Rhodes. Who is the superior champ. Honestly for me I think Intercontinental Champion is more prestigeous than US Champ because the title was established loooooong time ago, and the US title, not so old. Nonetheless, the match is quite okay. Not sure whether these two men will fight tomorrow.

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan match build-up is not satisfying me. At RAW, Punk team up with Santino Marella and Bryan team up with Cody Rhodes. It ends up with the faces won. While in the SmackDown, it's quite good when Bryan using his "evil" genius trick by using Kane to make a damage to CM Punk.

Another hot story this week is Big Show get fired just because of him make fun of Mr. Laurinaitis's voice. Some people make a prediction that Big Show going to show up in Over the Limit and interfere Cena and Laurinaitis match. He's already fired so he is not having a risk to get terminated.



Next is about Over the Limit (OTL) tomorrow. Am I the only one who think that WWE didn't introduce the OTL theme song? I just found out earlier this week that the OTL theme song is from Thousand Foot Krutch - War of Change. I found that out by browsing the wikipedia.

Another little segment, a CM Punk and AJ segment backstage. I'm not sure what this storyline will headed to but, maybe the CM Punk and Danial Bryan storyline will develop later after OTL.

From that segment, arise another segment of "Sunday Sunnyday". It is "Tweet of the Week". We know that now there are a lot of WWE fans on twitter. And usually, when a WWE show is running, these people will tweet. And I decide that this is the "Tweet of the Week".

I think Alex Riley bet against CM Punk that Chris Jericho would buy him being drunk, for that reason he now owes CM Punk! xD #WWE #Raw

Earlier before AJ meet CM Punk, Alex Riley was with Punk. As he left, CM Punk mention that he owe him 50 buck. It is related with a couple weeks ago if you follow RAW.

This week on the Fatal 4 Way build-up, I can't see Alberto Del Rio involvement, don't know what happen but we'll see tomorrow. Other than that, it is okay. I just notice that the attention was on Sheamus and Randy Orton.

Lastly, the Cena vs Laurinaitis match. It maybe will be more dramatic match than a great match. But, I'll buy it anyway. And the stipulation is if Laurinaitis lose, he'll terminated. And if any superstars interfere, he'll terminated. But as I said, Big Show now are not an employee anymore.

This Week on WWE

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today's "Sunday Sunnyday". Indeed it is sunny here. And hot too. This entry was posted really late (it's already Monday here) because I was watching the last fixture of Barclays Premier League

There is a lot thing going on in WWE this week. I'll try to tell you one by one. But before that, today is mother's day. So, Funkasaurus aka Brodus Clay want to give you a message. Here it is:

This week on RAW, there was a tag team match between Sheamus and Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho. Del Rio and Jericho won after Sheamus accidentally "Brogue Kick" Orton. Jericho pin the champion and demand a championship match. Del Rio also as the number one contender doesn't like the idea. And Orton also want to have that title back. I can say what a good way to build-up a match.

Paul Heyman shows up and read Lesnar message and I quote "Will never come back" and he quit. Will he really quit? Will Triple H seek vengeance? Plus Lesnar trash talking HHH by saying he won't last a minute in a match with him (Lesnar). Who knows? We'll see next Monday (Tuesday if you're here).

A divas match on RAw. Again a short boring match. I don't even remember that match anymore. And this RAW, Funkasaurus got a longer match between former WWE champion, The Miz. At last, I see Brodus Clay having a problem facing an opponent. Yet, he still winning.

Moving on SmackDown, where the newer faces and divas got more action. Kaitlyn and AJ feud. I can see some build-up right there. My last week wish seems to be granted. And Danial Bryan appearance just to say on AJ face that he'll moving on to Kaitlyn make me feel the AJ-Kaitlyn feud is building up.

Next, the new faces. I can see Ryback, Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow and tag team Titus O'Neil/Darrren Young. Ryback still don't have a "fair" fight match against him even though Heath Slater gives some fight. Antonio Cesaro don't even speak yet, so I don't know his mic skill. Damien Sandow still talking, no fighting. Ehem, sir, you're in a wrestling company. So, shouldn't you fight somebody? And by the way he's mockking Matt Striker as a former teacher, I really would like to see Matt goes back on the ring for some action. Maybe it's just a dream that will not come true. I just recently, watching wrestling again, so I miss Matt Striker's action. I know he wrestle. Back to Damien Sandow, I bet he'll never mocking Kane as he also a former teacher. Haha, I would like to see that.

Lastly, the tag team title will be defended at Over the Limit against Jack Swagger/Dolph Ziggler. Speaking on tag team, Titus O'Neil/Darren Young still having their winning streak. Good for them. Look at this video below, I really think this is funny when Booker T try to imitate Titus O'Neil "sound effect". Hahaha...

Before I forgot, tomorrow there is a Pay-Per-View action for TNA fans out there, if there is any. TNA Sacrifice. Tune in. And, I just notice that so far no official song for this Over the Limit. Is anybody notice that?

This week on WWE

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today's "Sunday Sunnyday". Many things happen this week throuhout WWE.

Let's just recap this week on RAW and SmackDown. Like Bella Twins fired, Brock Lesnar's attack, Laurinaitis attack and many others. Oh before that, let's watch this week "Foreign Exchange" shall we? This week is funny compared to last week which in my opinion was boring.

First of all about Brock Lesnar's attack to Triple H. Perhaps they'll face each other in next PPV, Over The Limit? According to this week SmackDown, Triple H need a surgery for his arm. But earlier today, I watch Miguel Cotto vs Floyd Mayweather match before I went out, I notice Justin Bieber at Mayweather's back. I almost "LOL"ed at him and then I notice Triple H also at his back! And he seems okay to me. No slinger, no cast and he's fine. So, I guess the injury is just in the storyline. Then, Laurinaitis attacked Cena in the end of this week RAW, revealing he is Cena need to face in Over The Limit. Well, I think most of the fans know that this will gonna be a Laurinaitis along Lord Tensai and Sakamoto vs Cena match.

Then, about the Bella Twins "fired". I first thought that the Bella's win against Beth Pheonix was unscripted because the injury look legit. But later I read somewhere that maybe WWE want the Bellas to re-sign their contract as their contract have expired. So they give The Bellas the title. And as The Bellas didn't wanted to re-sign their contract, they made them lose to a comeback Diva, Layla (watch The Bella Twins fired here). And I notice a better improvement in the Divas Division as their match took a longer time. And maybe Eve's involvement in the main storyline, maybe the divas division get their chance to be in a longer air time. Before this, if you want to watch a decent divas match, you can onnly watch it in NXT or Superstars. But this week SmackDown in the Layla vs Natalya match, they fight quite well. At least more than a 3 minutes match. And AJ and Kaitlyn storyline, I hope it can be develop to a match as Kaitlyn want to wake AJ up and get over Danial Bryan. Even though this is not related, I think Kaitlyn is pretty even though she is quite muscular for for a pretty woman.

The number one contender for the WWE title is Danial Bryan? I don't know why a SmackDown superstar get a WWE title shot. Maybe they want to make another undisputed champion? And I still don't get the feud between Sheamus-Alberto del Rio - Danial Bryan. And more newcomer like Damien Sandow and Derrick Bateman from NXT. I started to get bored with Ryback and Brodus Clay. Please WWE, make them exciting again. Please give more solid feud.

lastly before I end this entry, it is still funny to watch Big Show loss to Cody Rhodes. That's all for now.

Pre WWE Extreme Rules

Assalamualaikum and welcome to "Sunday Sunnyday" today. As you all know already (perhaps) that Sunday Sunnyday is a WWE slot for Infinitesane. But worry not, that's why we have "E2". Actually it is E (squared). But blogger didn't have that symbol so it's written E2. E2 is "Express Entry" and I will talk about the Bahrain GP just in a while. As for now, I'll stick with the WWE.

This week on WWE is about Brock Lesnar interview, Cena loss, new faces, Santino suck up, and a few Extreme Rules matchcard.

This week, WWE is invading London again. That mean Brock Lesnar wasn't around but his interview makes his presense felt. Cena came out and said he is afraid to face Brock Lesnar in Extreme Rules but he said he will fight nonetheless. Maybe he forgot a few years ago when he busted Lesnar head with his "padlock" when he was a Dr. Thuganomics. Later that night, he lost to Lord Tensai for an Extreme Rules match. Maybe this time it is scripted for his downfall. Or maybe this downfall will make him a little more aggressive? Just like his thuganomic era? Who know?

At the same show, Santino face David Otunga for the US title. Nothing spectecular honestly, I just entertained by his suck up to WWE Universe by wearing BPL/EPL jerseys. I think it is the most entertaining moment at the show. You can watch his match and entrance below:

Lastly, lets end this entry by reviewing a few match card that has been decided:

There you have it, 3 out of 4 matches are wrestlemania rematch. So, I'll be waiting next week for this pay-per-view. This Extreme Rules theme song is "Adrenaline" By Shinedown and I love it.

Blast From The Past, Divas Future...

Assalamualaikum and welcome to today "Sunday Sunnyday".

I'm sorry because I'm late today. I just lost in youtube. I just watched "a few" good old wrestling clip. It's a blast from the past. Nothing much to say today. So let's start it with this week Santino "Foreign Exchange". It's so funny but it was not wrestling-related.

This recent WWE SmackDown, it was live and it was "Blast From The Past". As I was excited on Express Entry last Monday/Tuesday because of Cena/Lesnar brawl which result Cena's lips busted, the next day, SmackDown aired live and brought the old superstars. Just like a reunion. It was a decent show though because we all aware that the superstars were too old to compete. There was only one old superstars compete. It was Hacksaw Jim Duggan and a little appearance of Sgt. Slaughter. When he was compete against Hunico. Other was just okay. I would like to apologize here because I don't know much wrestler from that era. I started watching wrestling since "Attitude Era" and the stars from pre-"Attitude Era" not pretty much make impact on me.

I feel sorry for the divas recently. I know I'm not a fans of divas but they don't get much opportunities to bring their action. If you want to watch a decent divas matches, you have to watch WWE NXT and/or WWE Superstars. Natalya didn't even have chance to compete because the match ended to quick!

And I've read at bleachers report that The Bella Twins contract will end by the end of this month and WWE will release them. Well, aside of their hotness, they are quite a good wrestler. They can do cheap trick like twin magic. After this, there is no more twin magic. Well at least not for this time. WWE may re-sign them back one day but I only see this things happen to the superstars and not the divas.

"Attitude Era" Stars to Help?

Assalamuaikum and welcome to Infinitesane "Sunday Sunnyday". Today I would like to talk about the WWE direction recently. This is just my opinion, maybe it's right, maybe it's wrong. But since I think this entry is going to be short, lets watch this week and last week Santino Marella "Foreign Exchange"

Most of us know that the most successfull period in the WWE/F is the "Attitude Era" period. They've success worldwide. Even in Malaysia. They are so famous, everybody know the superstars at that time eventhough they were not a WWF viewer. The name of "Stone Cold", "The Rock", "Undertaker", "Kane", "Triple H" was known by almost anybody. I was then a 9~11 years old at that time

However after that, WWF (World Wrestling Federation) change their name to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) so that people will not get confused with WWF (World Wildlife Fund). How irony is that the name changed occur the same year as I'm entering the boarding school thus leaving the wrestling thing behind. It was 2002.

Things still going well but again, WWE need to change their direction once parents started complaining about the show since it is too violence and not suitable for their kids to watch. So, in 2008, WWE started to change their direction towards more "PG-Friendly" because based from my source (wikipedia) the 40% viewer are from women and young children. PG-friendly means less violence, family-friendly and that thing causes WWE to become more boring to watch.

However, recently WWE started to change the direction a little more violence than before. Not as violence as the "Attitude Era" but it is less boring than before. From the awesome undertaker match to the bottle smashing by Jericho to CM Punks head, I see it started to get a little bit violence again. Plus, there is more "Attitude Era" star started to make a come back like The Rock (maybe not frequent appearence) and Brock Lesnar. Maybe by doing that it will attract more viewer?

Well I hope I'm right. It is boring to see people brawling but not violence at all. After all I'm growing in "Attitude Era".

Wrestlemania MANIA Baby! Wooo!

UPDATED! Post-Wrestlemania: Awesome, Good and Bad

Assalamualaikum and welcome to Infinitesane's "Sunday Sunnyday" for today. What else to say today except for the wrestlemania right? I just cannot content my excitement for today event in just a few hours to go. And indeed, today is a sunnyday Sunday here in Klang, Malaysia. Need I to remind you that this is gonna be a long entry because the awesomeness of wrestlemania didn't deserve a short entry right?

See that picture above? Seems like somebody got confused about "WHAT TIME IS WWE IN MALAYSIA 2012". Well, if you watch it in Astro, it's still aired at the same time, which is 10 pm, and 10:10 pm at Supersport HD. For those who watch it live, at the same time WWE broadcasted in America, it's a little bit tricky. Because we, in Malaysia didn't applied the "Daylight Saving Time" which America used. We don't have spring and fall so we don't have to "spring and fall" our clock. Daylight Saving Time (DST) is when people advancing their clocks so that evening have more daylight and morning have less. So, they "spring" their clock one hour when the spring started and "fall" one hour back when autumn begin. So, most of American states now advancing their clock except Hawaii, Arizona, Midway Islands and Wake Island. This year DST in USA started at 11 march and ended 4 November (source). So, the hour difference between Malaysia and USA is now just by 12 hour. Raw usually start at 9am in Malaysia and SmackDown usually start at 8am. But When the DST ended, you just need to advance it an hour.

So, I hope my explanation is crystal clear. Just a reminder, this year Wrestlemania 28 start at 7am. And if you want to follow the pre-show, it start at 6:30am in youtube and wwe.com. So, you don't have excuse to wake up late for a fajr prayer right? Well actually I'm talking to myself.

So much to tell, actually I don't know where to start. The songs, the matches, I don't know. Let's start with the song. This wrestlemania use many songs actually.

First, "Invincible" by Machine Gun Kelly featuring Ester Dean:

I'm not a fan for this song though, I think this song is for Cena vs Rock match.

Second, "Wild Ones" by Flo Rida featuring Sia:

I like this song. I feel the festive feeling when I hear this song. That's all.

Third, "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida:

I also like this song just like the second song. The reason is also same.

Fourth, "Girl Gone Wild" by Madonna:

I never fully listen to this song. It is the song for the divas tag team match.

Lastly, "The Memory Remains" by Metallica:

This is actually an old song, yet it is still a very good song. I'm not a Metallica fan of course. But this song is a hit once in Malaysia. So, of course I've overheard it. And to all Metallica fans, (I've read their comments in youtube) I think it is a good thing that there is more people liking your band song right? We're not a Metallica fan but we're not a poser. We just like the song. Get over it man... Actually I like this kind of song as a theme song in the WWE matches because I can feel the excitement to the match rather than the other hip-hop pop songs. It's good songs but I prefer metal songs.

Okay, enough with the songs. Let's move on to the matches. This is the full match card, courtesy of MrY2JerichoHD:

So, it's a dark match that we can watch worldwide.

Moving on, The Rock vs Cena. We've talk about this match before. Yeah, there is some good and bad development to this rivalry but in the end we still want to see they put up a good match right?

Next, The diva tag team match. This is actually a celebrity match as usual as last year Snooki take part in wrestlemania 27. I'm not so excited about this match though. Just my opinion.

CM Punk vs Chris Jericho for WWE Championship. This is actually quite similar with The Rock and Cena match. Because I think Jericho is also come from other generation and CM Punk from another generation, the difference is just The Rock don't wrestle as much as Jericho. So, I'm looking forward to this match. I think it will be entertaining.

Randy Orton vs Kane. Well, what can I said. I think it's just a filler feud as Wade Barret injured. But, I hope they can wrestle well.

Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus for World Heavyweight Championship. I'm surprise because they don't develop much feud. I think Danial Bryan have done a great job for being a heel. Eventhough he just saying "YES! YES! YES!", by annoying me, I think he did well. It just disappointing why they don't develop the feud much. That's all.

Cody Rhodes vs The Big Show for Intercontinental Championship. The feud is quite good, Cody Rhodes make fun of The Big Show and I laugh. He is really never won any single match in wrestlemania. So, I hope they'll entertain me of course.

Team Teddy vs Team Johnny. Winner will run both Raw and SmackDown Show. I bet the ring will be crowded right? Anyhow, I hope it will be entertaining. I really like Santino Marella, he is so funny. And I hope WWE will push him to do better so he will be funny and good(at wrestle) at the same time. Just like Mick Foley. I don't have prediction on this match. I want team Johnny to win, but at the same time I want Santino Marella to excel. So, let's just watch it right?

Okay, I save the best for last. The Undertaker vs Triple H in Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee. I really hope Undertaker will win this match to make it 20-0 winning streak. I know he's getting older and last year he win but not in a cool way. I hope he can win and in a cool way.
